CRES participated in the EU Islands Forum 2026, held in Palma de Mallorca on 20 – 21 May 2026 under the central theme “Resilient Islands – Resilient Europe”.
The event brought together representatives of island communities, European Institutions, national and regional authorities, energy system operators, research centers, and experts from across Europe, providing an important platform for the exchange of knowledge and best practices on the energy transition and resilience of islands. In parallel, two Capacity-Building Workshops were held on 19 and 22 May 2026 as part of the forum programme.
